Lonely Man of Cake

Sunday Apologies

I had a lengthy post in the pipeline for Saturday night which I began working on shortly after Shabbat.  While annotating the post with hyperlinks, I must have opened too many tabs on Firefox, which crashed and took my post with it into binary oblivion.  So sorry for the lack of posting until now.

I’m also a bit busy with school and work and don’t really have anything to rant about, so please have a look at these links:

  • Zabaj is a group blog which takes a humorous look at the Hebrew language from the perspective of Anglos living in Israel.
  • Balashon is a blog which I discovered because its author discovered my post on the death of R. Mordechai Breuer.  As you might have guessed from the name, the author takes an “investigative” interest in Hebrew linguistics without some of the apologetics I’ve seen on other blogs.
  • Haaretz has a nice piece following Rabbi Aharon Lichtenstein.  As I noted to the person who shared the article with me, there’s nothing in the article that a religious reader of Haaretz wouldn’t already know.  It’s nice to see some balanced coverage of the religious sector, nonetheless.
  • If there weren’t already 452.96 reasons to work for Google, this would be another good one.
  • And for my few dedicated readers, please leave comments once in a while.  Especialy you RSS folks.
